Start-up visa route is open to both EU and Non-EU citizens.
Applicants for entry clearance or visa from outside the UK or leave to remain within the UK must have a business plan endorsed by a Home Office approved endorsing body from the UK.
The applicant does not need to be the sole founder of the business and may be a member of a Start-up team, but each member must have their own individual endorsement from the endorsing body.
Applicants can be individuals or can even work as a team to setup the business in the UK. The Start-up route is for those setting up a business, who have the genuine and original business plan that is sustainable and can be expanded internationally.
Eligibility requirements for start-up visa
Your business idea and business plan must be appraised and endorsed by an authorised body that is either:
a UK higher education institution
a business organisation with a history of supporting UK entrepreneurs.

English Language requirement for the start-up visa for the UK
You must meet the English Language requirement by demonstrating your proficiency level B2 of CEFRor you should have completed a university degree taught in English within the UK or which can be considered equivalent to bachelor's degree from the UK.
You should have sufficient amount of personal savings to support yourself while you are in the UK. This is called as maintenance fund and this amount has to be in your account continuously for three months before your application.
You must be at least 18 years old when you apply for the startup visa for the UK.
